Towle-Whitney started in 1994 and concentrated on becoming a premier builder of water pressure booster pump systems. In the late ‘90s, we shifted the
pump’s control systems from constant speed to the new variable speed (VFD) systems. It was clear that
VFD boosters offered improved performance,
lower horse power, long term savings on maintenance, and IMMEDIATE savings on electricity. We were in the right place when the technology shifted. Very
simply, we pride ourselves on collaborating with mechanical contractors, engineers, architects, as well as the facility owners. Fifteen years later, we supply
everything from 1/2 HP
simplex systems for homes, to 50 HP HILO TRIPLEXES for high-rises.

We consider ourselves a hybrid because we understand BOTH plumbing and pumps. Our years in the plumbing industry give us the confidence and know-
how when sizing up the building’s needs. And because we’ve gotten our hands dirty installing pumps, we know what contractors need when they get into a
mechanical room. Every product is tested before leaving, because we’d rather find a problem here than half way around the world.

Integrating the right-sized pump into your building requires lot of questions, and some good listening skills!  Some of the clients we’ve helped:
Ned Towle, President: Schooled by the U.S. Navy for "pumps and valves" did his time as MR (machine repair) in and abroad the USS Wasp CVS-18 and
later gained his master plumber's license. After years in the plumbing industry, Ned worked at Watts Regulator and Febco (15+ years). Ned Started
Towle-Whitney in 1994 with the resolve that has led the Towle-Whitney company into the forefront of booster pump industry: keeping in mind that
boosters become an essential part of the water distribution system and need special attention with regards to the integration. That is one most
essential element for all associates and employees to keep in mind - we not only build the boosters, we are pleased to provide the integration of the
booster projects.

Dennis Whitelaw, Vice President: After graduating Colorado State University, Dennis earned a Navy commission. He served in the engineering and
operations division of the USS Berkeley out of San Diego and then moved ashore and taught in the cruise missile division. After the Navy, Dennis
worked for numerous backflow manufacturers (Febco, Flomatic, Wilkins) as a regional salesman, national sales manager, technical trainer and new
product development team leader. Dennis then spent 15 years with Davenport Associates covering sales in NH and ME. Dennis joined Towle Whitney
in 2011 and is responsible for all aspects of business.

Larry Dulac, System Designer:  First gained experience as a plumber with the Navy's CB's. After the Navy, Larry became a master plumber and ran his
own plumbing company for 35 years. Larry started Dulac Plumbing Innovations (DPI) and holds numerous patents on water heater safety products.
Larry joined Towle Whitney in 2002 and was instumental in the design and development of the VFD booster product line as well as the mixing valve
product line.

Vid Rampurkar, Engineering: Graduated from Northeastern University with a M.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Control System
Design.  Vid is responsible for all aspects of design and engineering of the booster pump systems, including technical support for clients before/after
sales.

Jo Ann Fisher, Accounting: Joined in 2006 as the bookkeeper.  Jo Ann is now also involved in all aspects of sales and marketing, purchasing, and
inventory management.

Steve Cannistraro, IT and Valve Sales: Joined in 2005, heading up the IT department.  In addition to website design and IT issues, Steve is also
involved in sales and marketing of both the
Cash Valve product line and booster pumps.

Sean Cannistraro, Production and Sales: Joined in 2012, and involved in all aspects of building booster pumps and mixing valves, from welding to
testing.  Sean is also responsible for on-line sales development, and heads up the shipping department.
And we’re friendly; when you call during the day, an actual person will answer the phone and the sale does not end when the pump ships!  Clients
depend on our customer service and design assistance, before, during, and AFTER the installation. Give us a call; we’d like to help you with your low
water pressure problems.
