Increase Low Water Pressure - Water Pressure Booster Systems - Well Water Pressure
PLEASE FOLLOW GOOD PLUMBING PRACTICES:
Some helpful tips that could save you big headaches
Problems caused by stressed piping
and improperly secured pump.
• Pipe joints will leak
• Vibration can loosen bolts on pump
resulting in leaks.
• Vibration noise may rattle the pipes.
• Check Valves may close piping
system. Result n pressure build-up.
See the thermo-expansion tank
diagram below.
1. Mount pump securely on a stable
surface that is level and snug it down
but not too tight.
2. Attach pipes after pump is securely
attached to level surface.
3. Never stress piping when attaching
to pump, this will cause many
complications.
4. Avoid adding shims to make the
pump level.

Check valves close the hydraulic
system. Results can be leakage at the
water heater relief valve.
• Pump systems usually have a check
valve to prevent reverse flow.
• An expansion tank can be installed to
prevent overpressure.
• When cold water heats up it
expands. The expansion tank will
balance the system.
• The expansion tank allows the
system to relieve pressure, which
alleviates the stress on the pump and
piping.
• Follow the diagram when installing an
expansion tank to maintain the integrity
of your plumbing system.
